Canal Pleat Trouser

A wide trouser whose asymmetric wrap waistband and long knife pleats reinterpret the construction rhythm of the mamianqun. A carved dark-jade rectangular buckle anchors the overlap over a concealed internal fastening. Tonal canal-wave jacquard appears inside the pleat returns as the wearer moves; two slanted side pockets remain fully usable.

Proposed in a Hangzhou-woven wool-silk barathea with a smooth cotton-silk waistband facing. The pleats are engineered to fall cleanly without creating a skirt-like stack.
